Default Basics on commission pay

Where can I get some basic information on paying commission employees, all the rules etc. Trouble finding it anywhere. I would prefer sources on the net vs. book but please give me whatever you got.

Thanks

First of all - are they employees, or commissioned agents who you do not pay with a paycheck and withhold taxes?

If they are not actual employees, but people who are paid strictly commission and are responsible for their own taxes, here is more info - http://www.irs.gov/publications/p911/ar02.html

If they are actually your employees try here - http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/wages/commissions.htm

I bet that eirther the local TAX office or the closest accounting company can you help you.

The rules vary from country to country, and if inside US i bet that its the same from state to state.

Default commission

If the sales people are going to be commission you need to determine if they will be subcontractors or employees. That irs site spells it out. However you need to follow the rules or you will get busted, been there!
These sites are good also: http://www.score.org/ and http://www.sba.gov/index.html
