Default fax blasting

my wife owns a temporary dental staffing agency I need to send a fax blast to every dentist in the state of Alabama - How would I get numbers?

also we do all our faxing thru my mac computer - is there special fax blasting software?

I assume you know it's illegal to send unsolicited faxes.

Can't tell you where to find numbers, but most all of the PCV fax programs will do what you need.

I use WinFax, but I'm sure there are similar Mac programs.

I agree with Pete about this. I think they passed a law prohibiting this 7-10 year ago. And you business could get into a lot of trouble and fines.

You might be able to send them a postcard though and might check out a program called Yellow Pages Super Grabber to get the addresses

I see them come through my office all the time. I've heard to it as "fax broadcasting" and I've only heard mention of the legalities of it, governed by each state, and sometimes local municipality.

It is also possible to bring a private suit against the violator in an appropriate court of your state. Through a private suit, you can either recover the actual monetary loss that resulted from the TCPA violation, or receive up to $500 in damages for each violation, whichever is greater. The court may triple the damages for each violation if it finds that the defendant willingly or knowingly committed the violation.
