Here's a tip: If you're shopping on price, you're not looking for an expert. You're looking for someone cheap. NO CPAs... NO EAs... Maybe someone working out of their house?
BTW, you get what you pay for in my experience...

If you are looking someone working out from home, please make sure your payroll data is safe. Some customer told us his accountant's machine got virus and lost their payroll data.

When I started my first business years ago, we attended a few meetings with the local small business incubator. One of the staff members there recommended an accountant with experience with small businesses. We hired her and I have worked with her for over 10 years. I am now on my second company. Sorry, she is not in Florida, but I'd recommend speaking to some people with expertise in small business in your area. Ask for client recommendations.
BTW - our accountant is Donna Remer of Remer Accounting in Grand Forks and I'd recommend her to anyone.

Although networking with other businesses is probably the most reliable way of finding a Florida accountant who can handle your QuickBooks, you can always do an internet search for a list of accountants in your city and see if there is a fit for your Florida LLC.
Good luck. |
