You may also want to check with your web site host. Many web providers provide additional software for free, and you can self-install it with a click of a button, on your site.
If you are the handy type, you can go to www.HotScripts.com and search for "Blogs" in whatever language you need and download & install it yourself. For an example, check out the hosting plans I offer, and the features. You'll see that each plan has Blogs included for free. There are lots of web hosting companies that offer the exact same thing - called "Fantastico" - with their plans. |

Like the above said you can check out your hosting plan and a lot of them include blogs or website builders that have them etc.
On the business in general sites like rent.com do what you are talking about already so the question is what will your competitive advantage be? Alan |

Most hosts offer many software packages which are CMS (content management systems) oriented. Blogs are quite similar to those. A good one which I also provide for free to my customers is Mambo which lets you develop not only a blog but a dynamically generated website (data-driven) without knowing any HTML/PHP/etc.
PostNuke is a good option but needs quite a bit of work to configure it. You might want to try osCommerce (google search) since you want to receive payments. |
