hi everyone

the website is

www.allhomebasedbusinessideas.com

The content will be a collection of ideas on home based businesses with an article on each idea explaining how to start the business.

Any opinions would be appreciated. What I am looking for in particular though is your opinion on the content and whether or not there are enough people doing searches on business ideas to have many (thousands? hundreds? daily) potential daily visitors.

thanks

Hi Jose,
The site is nice and easy to navigate.People are looking to get out of their "dead end" jobs everyday and start their own business.
One thing I have never seen with "Start your own business" sites is a list of suppliers. One of the hardest things to do with any startup, and I see it here on this forum,is to find wholesale suppliers. So,even though you mention gift basket making as a business, you don't go into any detail on making baskets or finding suppliers.
I'll bet you could make quite a bit of money by first, finding wholesale basket making supplies and then contacting the owner so that you can use a link to their website. You could charge them a monthly fee to endorse their products and also making it easier for the startup company to find supplies. Not just the baskets and wrap, but products to go into the baskets.
We actually made gift baskets for our landscape customers for Christmas.Included was expensive chocolates, coffees, fleece throws, etc.,,
We gave them out with the theme of "Relax and let us take care of the work".They loved it.
You could do this with each of your categories. One big problem with startups is people are very eager to start, but just don't know how.You could also list specifics about starting a business, like writing a business plan, where to go for tax information, how to buy wholesale and sell retail.
The possiblities are endless.Good luck!

The design is a little dull. I'd like to see more than just text. That's also a really long domain name!

I'd recommend spicing it up with some classy graphics.

I agree. Also, consider purchasing forum software like vBulletin to allow users to interact with your site. That could - over time - help draw more users.

Hi Jose,

I went to your site and here are my comments

Keep your left nav options consistant.

remove links on your own site back to your homepage, like the title on the homepage & link at bottom of ebay article.

You may want to consider becoming an affiliate for some sites related to topics and including more links inside you article. As an example there are a lot of ebay selling tools that you could mention in your article.

Increase your content. consider getting articles from other sites in exchange for links to them.

Hope this helps and good luck.
