Default feedback on my e-book idea

I just joined your forum and wanted to get your feedback on an idea I have for an e-book.

Would there be an interest in how great entrepeneurs made it big in business? The highs and lows of there claim to fame, Mistakes they made when they were just starting out etc.

There is a lot of valuable info around and I find a lot of people like to follow the footsteps of many great businessmen.

Would this be a marketable idea?

I would appreciate your thoughts!

Thanks, JB Whelan

I always enjoy reading about other people's successes and failures. Not sure how much I would pay for it in an e-book though. There are many places that feature this type of article for free.

If you had certain people featured in your book, exclusive perhaps, it might be worth a few dollars.

You might contact Ellen at Create a Splash for some information on ebooks as well.

I think it's a great idea. I'd like to hear from famous/notorious entrepreneurs too. Like the Teutels (American Chopper) and Boyd (American Hotrod). I know Paul Teutel Sr had an iron works shop before he created his custom motorcycle business, but I'd like to hear about his tribes and tribulations from a business standpoint, and how they all got started. How much, how'd they get investors, what they did for a living prior, etc.

Thanks for your comments and support!

I think I will just get going on this and let my gut feeling take over.

I'm really hooked on Napoleon Hill's writing, if you're not familiar with his books 'Think and Grow Rich' and my favourite 'The Master Key To Riches' you should check them out! His words will captivate you.

He writes about the rise of steel magnate Andrew Carnegie ( a typical cinderella story) and his philosophy on success along with many other juicy success stories about famous business people from a different era, but the principles are the same.

These stories really get me fired up. Just researching and writing on this subject would bring me much pleasure!

p.s. there's a free download of Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich' available at milliondollarbookshelf.com
