Lets start with what kind of stores we have.

Me and my wife own a Full Service Salon & Day Spa and also a Beauty Supply store.( check www.jerolsalon.com)

We have 50 employes working for us. And im doing the Marketing for our web sites and for the Salon and Beauty supply. The salon is maybe 25 years old and we just finishd remodeling the salon and the beauty Supply. We have in our database 10.000 clients. We only have a 1.000 address, and maybe 800 e-mails. we never did any promotion for christmas before or any big promotion.1-What can we do to promote out Salon for Christmas and New Year?
2-Can i get a plan of what to do from you or any big ideas.that will make my sales better?
3- How can i bring new clients to our salon?
( There is maybe 10 Salons in my town, Danville, Ca but we are the biggest one) and there is a7
+ Beauty Supplyes , like Beauty source,and also they sell stuff in longs and masys so its hard to compeat with them.
Please give me as many ideas that you did before or thik that will help me.

we have a christmas open house and tons of people show up and it brings in lots of money...... basically ilts a small sale, big decorating!!! free food, and sometimes a drawing ....we always give a little free gift..like a star with a bow on it....
we have 4000 on our data base and send them all a postcard......watchout tho,,,,if you get too late you are lost in the rush....we aim for early november.....


how about emphasizing customer appreciation and what they can get special that day? i would never put free gift in a newspaper ad,,, but for my mailing list i do....they have all bought from us....thank you and come get your free ------....pamper yourself for the holidays, great grandma gifts, etc etc
