Default What do you think of my new web design?

My site has been redesigned, and I could use your honest feedback, ie. first impressions, what you like and what you dislike.http://www.coachmorse.com

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Do you still have the old one to compare? I'm just asking this because this seems more templatish, but I can't remember what your old one looked like. Also, copyright should be changed to 2006.

Other than that it looks very nice, loads very quickly, and it is all eye level with minimal scrolling.

No... out with the old... in with the new. It's not a template.
copyright... I'll have that changed.

I hope you don't mind but I googled your old sites cache and was able to compare the 2 sites from the homepage.

This site is definitely portrays you as a writer/motivational speaker. Probably because it emphasizes your book.

I really liked it and will look forward to going through the site when I have a few minutes.

Hi, Coach,

Very nice! My only suggestion would be to move this sentence on your home page from the 3rd paragraph to the beginning of your first paragraph:

Whether you are looking for one-on-one coaching, or you need to motivate your team with a Success Workshop, MAI can help.

This explains exactly what you do which makes a good intro for your visitors, and the words will be given more importance by search engines because they look for key words in the first sentence on any page. The current first line is eloquent, but "service" is a generalization and not specific to what you do.

Again, very nice design and positive first impression!

Cheers,

Jim

2 thumbs up. I like the simplicity of it.

It appears to be more of a support marketing web site rather than trying to hook a person in who visits right away. I didn't see any benefit statements, I guess about living dreams or some new age California stuff like that. I'm East Coaster though - how about, "I Sho' you the money?".

Anyway, the look of it is great.

Thanks Scanner.

There is new copy coming that will be more sales-like. I'm hoping the site redesign with the new copy will start converting visitors to customers.

Thanks again for the feedback.... have a beer!

George,

Visually very nice first impression. Colors work for me.

The first thing I noticed when reading the copy on the home page is you use "us, we, or our" 11 times and "you or your" three times. It's just a pet peave with me . I think it reads better if the numbers were reversed.

Best of luck with it.
