Hundreds.
You can pay to be listed in a niche' directory.
You can pay to be listed in a targeted business book , much like the periodical each city has that caters to the film industry.
You can pay to be listed just about anywhere.

Think about specific targeting, over general placement.
If you are going to pay money, it should at least be so you are right in the face of those specifically looking for services.

I have never used Yahoo, Google or the MSN business directory, as I don't think they would work for me to be listed next to the other 10,000 SEO and Web companies out there.
Make sure you have exhausted all of the free business listings that you can find first and use all the tools like Linked In and such, before you venture out into paid listings.

Another thing to consider is a banner ad on a forum related to your product/service. I have one on a hat related forum and it's generating a lot of traffic to our site. It didn't start right away but now that it's been there a few months it's working great.

We do the same thing with out hunting products company. We have banners on a few forums and are sponsors of the site. One of the advantages to this is that we get to post about our product and company because we are a sponsor. This is prohibited for posters who are not sponsors. The rules will vary by forum, but that rule seems to be the standard among forums that sell advertising.

We've also made some nice contacts through these forums. Sponsorships are also fairly reasonable in cost. I'd recommend this method of advertising.
