Default Purchaser lead...what's next?

Hello

My first post here. Nice to meet you.

I started an online shop a few months ago and got a call from a purchaser in China who is interested in buying large quantities. We are a family business. I'm not sure we can handle such a big order.

We are a distributor selling from many different sized factories. Today we are asking them what their capacity output is and pricing structure.

We also need to think of logistics.

My question is mainly on how to handle the process with the Chinese purchaser. Should we wait until they ask to purchase, send them a sample (high cost), suggest buying a few (retail price or wholesale?), hmmm?

Has anyone had similar experience?

Thank you
