Default Need some advice!!

Im starting a business related to selling typical mexican candies im looking forward to sell it online but the problem here is if people from other countries do like the flavor of mexican candies? I have some US friends who come often to Mexico and they can't leave the country without their milk candies and other stuff.

Please let me know what is your opinion about that and give me some advice.

Thanks.

I was in Gettysburg, PA about two weeks ago -- and had a Pepsi from Mexico city shop -- it was very good.

There's plenty of information online for you to search. Actually, have a problem here with my computer so I have to go!! Just a bit of caution about children eating them and choking in the process (liability). But, if you have a real shop than you might be a good target for complaints. If there is no real shop than you might have to work harder.

Lots of free info. avail via searches. Good idea. bye

Default regional mexican products

i know that mexican products are well accepted by people living in the US i read an article of a man who sells Mexican Coca-Cola on a corner store in Virginia and many people like the flavor of that coke cause it's made of sugar cane different from the sugar from American Coke. By the way i was thinking more about ethnical products well note exactly ethnical (regional) is the word. In the state where i live Nuevo Leon, Mx there are some typical candies like Milk candies made with goat milk (that's the traditional way of doing it by the way) covered with nuts or many other things and that's what i will like to sell but first i need some research and market opportunities so that the products are well recieved by any customer.

I can send you a sample if you like so; that way you will know what am i talking about, and by the way im needing presence in the US so if you're interested please let me know.

Saludos....

Default Thanks for replying

It will be great knowing about US marketing im into my way of researching but way much better is having a person who lives there to explain me how it is all about; and if you got a biz that involves selling international products we can start a commercial link that will work excellent for both parts.

Thanks and write back.

I would suggest that the taste of the candies are irrelevant. Look at how many dreadful things we Americans consume on a daily basis because we are told that it must be good. I say go with your plan, target a friendly market to build loyalty and then look for opportunities to branch out. Best of Luck.
