Default This forum's sig files

I would like to modify my signature on this forum. I don't want to change the layout, just some of the wording, but the software won't let me do it. It says I have too many lines, that the limit is 3 lines.

Well, I have three lines. Even when I make no change and just ask to 'preview' my sig, I am told I have too many lines. The software accepted my three lines before but won't accept my three lines now.

Is it broken? What to do?

TIA

Probably when it is created, the signature is pushed to another line. Have you tried to delete a few letters to see if that fixes the problem.

I actually tested this out for about an hour a at the beginning of April. Without knowing more though, I would rather not guess, having the information is always better.

Yes. I tried reducing the length of both lines to no avail. Just tried it again now and it's the same. The only way I can get it to accept a modificiation is to eliminate a line entirely and reduce my sig to two lines.

Oh. well, if that's how it is now, I'll just leave it alone.

Spider .... It shows up on my computer as three lines.

Frederick on one
Ben Franklin's quote on the second
Links on the third

That's right, Patty, but the board software is seeing it as more than three lines. When I try to modify a line it refuses the modification and tells me I have too many lines. Even if I reduce the line to almost nothing, it does the same. The only way I can modify my signature area is to eliminate at least one line, maybe more, and I'm afraid to do that in case it won't let me back to three lines.

You can probably see the light fromwhere you are! lol ... I thought you had changed it and it was something like the issue I had with my favicon, where something just had to "catch up" on your machine but it was showing up properly on everyone else's.
