Email Marketing = SPAM
Unless you run your own newsletter or advertise in newsletters, many people consider email marketing as SPAM. I would.

Default well your right in the sense of it not being used correctly

i understand exactly what you mean...the ones who send out unsolicated email in bulk mailings are the ones who actually use email marketing wrong......but when used the right way such as permission based email, or newsletter etc it can be very rewarding, meaning if someone opts in to receive your email then you have permission. that ebook shows you exactly how to build opt in mailing list if you dont have one...just after learning that ebook i was able to build my subscriber list to 3000 subscribers in one month...

Newsletter email marketing can work out pretty well. With the opt-in email marketing - who can keep track of it as a customer? At one point it will become overwhelming and people are getting annoyed. A legimite business should find better ways to advertise. Sorry, for not supporting your idea - but I have to work with SPAM related issues at my day to day job. We filter out 40,000 SPAM messages per day for 450 users in a business environment. This costs money. Our business has to pay for it. The problem is, that it will not be just one opt-in message that a user gets - after a while its 20-30 and again - how can a recipient keep track of this? How can a recipient tell that it comes from an opt-in mailing list?

Default that where the sotware comes in

you have a really good point also, but in this ebook it shows you everything where to get dirt cheap autoresponders, when to mail, what to mail....plus keeping up with your newsletter all in one program and giving free information...you keep your subscribers interested in what you have to offer............ive joined couple opt in list before and all they did was spam and spam, unfortunately if the read that ebook they could have saved their efforts.....

I can tell you - the SPAM filters we utilitize don't care about these things. If the SPAM flag is raised, your emails would be dumped and never reach the recipient.

I also run SPAM filters on my personal email accounts and so do many more people.

Email marketing has been destroyed by the SPAMMERS. No legimite business should consider mass emailing of any kind as a marketing option. Now we just to let the SPAMMERS know so that we can free up the money and resources for the SPAM filters and create new jobs by investing the money properly instead.

Arrow thats because they are unexperienced

when people finally learn how to use email correctly, and have a real guide that is 2004 tested, then they will really see the benefits of email marketing...not mass mailing anyone........but when they email thier mailing list people who opt in to receive your messages, infact the most successful marketers, succeed by having a client list..the difference is the ones who use email for affiliate programs and spamming are the broke ones........the ones who offer information on running your business and marketing tips that are tested and proven are the ones will benefit........
