Question Registered your business for VAT?

Taxing Stuff
============

If you're wondering whether to register your business for VAT, then the annual turnover threshold changed again in April to £58,000, above which you must be registered.

If you're considering the whole VAT minefield, then the Customs & Excise website is pretty helpful at www.hmce.gov.uk and you can also print off a copy of Notice 733, the Flat Rate Scheme for Small Businesses online, which is certainly worth a passing thought if you loathe the idea of the quarterly VAT return.

Handy to know...................
