Question How do you manage your business?

Do you use PDA, laptops, cell phone?
What software do you use for financial operations & overall operations?

All of the above

I have a tablet pc which has remote internet connectivity via cellular connection. I have a cell phone and 3 lines in my office. I can access my files in the office from anywhere in the world, which helps alot.

Quickbooks is nice for billing but I designed my own CRM and am working on a module for scheduling. I have named this software "Office Manager" but never plant o release it. It's just for my own company's needs. This office manager will eventually become the backbone of my office automating as much as posible... might even repalce quick books one day... Maybe.

Just interested!

Thanks.

Yep i have the lot, PDA (Asus MyPAL A716), Laptop (Asus L4000H), and Mobile Phone, plus the normal stuff for the office. I am trying to find, scheduling, and automation software for some of the things. Plus i am trying to find a web interface that my clients can use to access information about past purchases and such.

As for software i currently use MYOB, does everyhting i need plus more, I have used Quickbooks, but that was back in 2002 and i didnt really like it.

I'm trying to find an effective software that will tie together my Quickbooks data, with a powerful contact manager, and work on the Palm too. Had a look at this one today, http://www.tools-for-business.com not sure yet about them.
