lingzhao,
If you're serious about doing business with people outside of China, then I suggest you invest more time and money into your own English language skills. Or hire someone who can help you in this area. After-all you are the one seeking business opportunities in North America, and so, you should be able to communicate effectively with us. If I was actively searching for opportunities in China I would take the steps needed to find a way to communicate and be fully understood in Chinese. Regards, David

David, I do't think you know International Trade. Not all countries use English as medium of language and therefore English will not be their mother language, therefore it is expected that errors will be made and also this is just online forum not legal document.

Here's another one with poor English, but this one has an attitude too. You really want to do business with people like that.
On that first occassion I encounter someone in business with an attitude I know immediately that no further business is possible. |

thats how i am too....and being the boss i get to be that way...it might not be fair and i might miss some things but i have to decide fast a lot of time...and there are usually lots of alternatives...
basically i need a mutually respectful thing, and hopefully a win win goal... .on the other hand lots of real valuable connections have been kind of a handful to deal with personally...which is ok too ...like one of our carpenters who is such a perfectionist and hyper sensitive i have to walk on tiptoes when accepting his work...but the work is fabulous...

Khosi,
I realize not every country uses English in their daily lives. I am also quite aware that this is simply a forum and not a legal document. However, I am assuming individuals who visit these types of forums do so in an attempt to network, get advice, and share general business-related information. Since this particular forum is in English, ideally, your posts should be understood by the readers. Small spelling mistakes and/or grammatical errors are not a problem, but it is a problem when the post is complete gibberish or close to it. Don't you agree? If not, then you obviously didn't "understand the last part of my message... >"After-all you are the one seeking business opportunities in North America, and so, you should be able to communicate effectively with us. If I was actively searching for opportunities in China I would take the steps needed to find a way to communicate and be fully understood in Chinese."< Finally, in response to your statement about not knowing international trade. You couldn't be more wrong! My regular 9 to 5, Monday to Friday job, is as an Export/Import Officer within my government's International Trade Department. I am also fluent in English, French, and Japanese as a way to better communicate with my counter-parts throughout parts of the world where I do business... All of which means I know a little something about international trade. Anyway, none of the above is meant to offend you. I simply wanted to clear a few things up. Regards, David
