What type of insurance are you looking for? Liability or what?

The best way to pick insurance is to determine what outcome you are trying to offset.

Death is offset with life insurance
Auto damage is offset with auto insurance

so on and so forth.

As for the company, it is the policy that matters. Ask for a list of the company's standard conditions, exclusions and definitions. Read these carefully and compare to the other companies you are looking into.

IF you are seeking general liability for your company pay close attention to the definitions of occurence, property damage, bodily injury, products, and completed operations. Be sure you see if there is a deductible or not. I will post more advice when i get to work. I have policies all over my desk and I can look to make sure i do not forget anything.

I am looking for general liability insurance for my company. I do business on the internet only selling nutritional supplements. No storefront. I contacted about 10 companies so far and haven't even been able to get a response. Is my category a difficult one or something? Seems like they are trying to avoid me or something.
