Default A small resturant?

Hi there,

It's really nice to find a community in which one can discuss small business ideas.

Well, I'm planning for a small fast food restaurant. I'm living in a country that people eat a lot especially in weekends.
Here, starting a business is easiy. There is no tax.

Ok, I have got some questions regarding my business.

First, I don't have cache. I have to prepare a loan for my business. But, I'm afraid if my business fails and I lose a big portion of my salary for a long time. So, how can I manage this?!

Second, I don't know how to make advertisement for my resturant. Because, my capital is really limited, I cannot plan to take a very good place for my resturant which has a high traffic.

Thanks for your help in advance

You have no experience in business or in the restaurant business and you have limited cash.

I would suggest you get an experienced business partner who has money to invest.

Location is VERY important in the restaurant business. You'll need money to carry you over the period until you break even and then beginning to make profits.

If you have no experience in the restaurant business, I'd suggest you work in a restaurant for a year to gain experience.

There's probably business courses you can do in the meantime while you are gaining some experience.

But the problem here is that the experienced partner with his money would take over the job after he feels that he can make money from it and then kick me out!

Yes, that's right. I thought that I might need to work in a restaurant for a while to gain some experience with the job.

I'd advertise locally with flyers.
