Hi Spaniard!
![]() Haven't got any feedback from our President about some editions to be done on our site content. I was out of communication for some time due to some very bad storm here in our place. I couldn't come to the office. Oh, if you would want to get in touch with me directly you may have a cozy chat with me. I'm agents_of_value at YM and eversuniloilo at skype. You may also visit our site (see my signature) and I'm online through there from 9:00am to 6:00pm +8hrs GMT.

Perhaps some of the big things have already been mentioned, but here are a couple that I think are crucial for building trust:
1. Customer feedback: create case studies of clients' stories who saved money, increased profits, etc. with your services. 2. Write articles: I think this shows a certain degree of credibility. You're first of all taking the time to write these articles and must be passionate about what you do. 3. Security, security, security: this is especially important when dealing with a web-based business. Think about your check-out process (are you dealing with credit card information?), email transactions, etc. 4. Partnerships: being affiliated with other businesses may give you more credibility, not mention drive traffic, to give an edge over competitors.

Hello Milal!
Thank you very much for the great tips. Here are some of the things that we have done so far: 1) Redesigned our site. A total makeover so as to avoid a tad and cheap look. 2) Regarding customer feedback, there is only one who volunteered to do it for us and it was through a post in a certain forum. I know there could have been a better and more powerful advertising strategy than that but I couldn't request for more. But I'll be assigned to work on this. Do you have any suggestion as to how to approach busy businessmen to make testimonials for us? 3) Article submission is already one thing that I'm doing whenever I'm not that busy with client services or agent training. Of course I can't write advertising articles for that would just spam article directories. I opt for writing how to's kind of articles and I just add in some links that might as well lead to our site or services. Is that a correct way of doing it? 4) Right about security. I have been receiving spammers lately. But those are no big deal, what I am really worried about right now is that some clients of ours aren't too honest with us. Some would just leave behind without paying us. We can't ran after them because they're from another country. Any suggestion how to remedy this source of headache? 5) I still have no idea about affiliate programs of sites whose business is similar to ours.

epithet the site looks good, very professional if I haven't mentioned it before. One thing I do notice is the site takes awhile to load. I think the images need to be optimized for the web and don't look like they have been yet. The file sizes I saw for them looked larger than they really should be. Optimizing them all through Photoshop or another image editing program and it should help a lot.
With the customer feedback add a simple form to the site if you haven't already done so. Most people probably won't fill it out, but it's easy enough to create and will be available for those few who will fill it out on their own. I'll usually ask all of my customers for a testimonial at some point during any project. (Usually at a moment when I can tell they're happy with the work I've done) Just about everyone has agreed and sent me something. If you send email to your customers you can always place a request in the email with a link to a feedback form. Sounds like you're doing the article submission the right away. Also look beyond simply submitting to article directories. Ideally find some quality sites that may add your article. Depending on what they're about there should be some authority sites in the industry that take articles. It will most likely be harder to get an article accepted to those sites, but it will be worth more than the downloads you get from article directories if you do get accepted to the authority sites. I'm not sure what to do about the clients not paying. All I can think is to collect some money up front from them, which may not be the approach you want to go with things. I'm thinking maybe requiring even a small fee before being able to use your services. Even a small fee should discourage the cheats. Of course it may also turn off some legitimate customers as well. You might also require a deposit that is applied to the bill and non refundable otherwise. I'm not sure if my suggestions are viable solutions, but it's all I'm coming up with at the moment. |

vangogh, when you said optimizing the images, you mean I should have it in lower size through PS?
We already have a feedback form at the Contact Us page of the site. But your suggestion of adding the link to such form whenever I communicate with our clients is a very good idea. I'll take that advice. ![]() Did you mean to say that there might be one site out there who would want to add our articles to their site? wow! If I do that as the webmaster here it's like finding a needle in a haystack. But that's another good idea which I haven't known before. Yes we do have this thing called start-up cost. It's a one-time payment paid to us by the clients right before getting started and it goes after signing the contract. But despite of that after several weeks or months of work the client no longer shows up. It's so hard to run after them because they're from another country. ![]()
